Football Traditions

I know a lot of you gentlemen can’t wait for Thanksgiving, and it doesn’t have to do with green bean casserole. Football is a big draw for the last Thursday in November. The whole weekend should have plenty of games occurring, both college and professional football – and maybe a little “backyard” football, too. History.com has some videos and information about the traditions of football on Thanksgiving, so maybe while you’re waiting on the bird to get out of the oven, or a game to start, you could catch up on some football info. Are you excited about the games scheduled? Who are you rooting for?
Terrence Cody, Y’all
I will straight up admit that I can follow a game of football, but I also have to admit that I don’t really follow a particular team. But I know that we’re all Tide people here, so while I risk making a fool of myself, I feel I still have to try to bring you some of the latest for sports in the area. Do you think Terrence Cody was the best choice for the Football Writers Association of America for the Nagurski Trophy? Or was Rolando McClain a better choice? CrimsonConfidential.com has a discussion forum on this very topic, and I expect it to be a hot debate. It’s only $5 to be a one-month subscriber to the site, and you’ll get the latest on news on all the Crimson Tide Athletics programs. Or are you already a member? Of course, we could just carry the discussion on here for free!
